It was an incredible week at Donna's condo in the Faro 2 Tower in Punta Mita! Before our trip, Donna called me a couple times and answered all my questions. The panoramic views from the terrace covered the full expanse of Banderas Bay. Sunsets were incredible!!! One morning we even saw some whales in the distance.(Bring your binoculars) The condo is located right in front of a consistent surf break called "Stinkys," where my husband and I surfed, SUPped and taught ourselves to surf on paddleboards among a friendly group of expats, locals, and fellow visitors visitors. Thanks to Jorge ( a WildMex instructor out with his students) for the paddling tips - I hope to fit a lesson in next time with him. Waves were gentle and fun, and the water was a perfect 83 degrees, but it can get rocky at low tide out there, so be careful. El Anclote was a short walk/paddle away, but from what I could tell it was more crowded, so we stayed closer to home. We also saw a lot of pangas heading to Los Lanchos throughout the day but the waves were much bigger and the lineup more crowded so again, we preferred the home break. Condo was well- equipped and thanks to Donna's local partner Daniel, the fridge was stocked with staples we requested ahead of time, which we used to prepare most of our breakfasts and lunches. Dinners were usually out at many of the fine restaurants in walking distance - our favorites were Si Senor (ask for Chupi - the best waiter ever), Tuna Blanca (order the ceviche - ask for the very attentive waiter Raoul) , and Casa de Pintor (We loved the owner Ropey (sp?)- we became instant amigos) right across the street from the condo...they pour a nice margarita- Friday nights are fun but make reservations. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Perfect vacation if your priorities are water sports, recreation and some great waterfront dining experiences. Daniel (fluent in English) was like our personal concierge - he transported us to and from the airport (stop for lunch and fresh bread at Paninos on Rt. 200), arranged for our private trip on the "Miss Vicky" to Marietas (a must-do and we had GREAT snorkeling since the water was so clear that day). Daniel and his helper Felix also shopped for veggies and brought us a FRESH steak of Dorado that we used for fish taco lunches, arranged for our paddleboards and surfboard delivery and return. He was always a text or phone call away to answer questions or provide recommendations. All in all, it was one of our favorite trips ever. Loved the quiet little village of Punta Mita and the homey, comfortable condo. Thank you Donna, Daniel and Felix! We'll be back!

I just finished unpacking, so I can focus on reliving our vacation. Donna is very friendly and enthusiastic about her place and Punta de Mita. This was our second visit to the area so we knew the location would be perfect. Daniel met us when we arrived and helped us with anything and everything, including organizing a trip to Las Marietas on the Ms Vicky with Oscar and driving part of our group to the airport. The condo was clean and comfortable and the people we met, who live in the building, were very welcoming. The amenities were great, both in and around the condo. It's pretty fun to have the elevator open into your house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to my family and friends. Punta Mita is a fantastic place for relaxation and adventure. You won't regret staying in this beachfront location.

Just spent the most incredible week long vacation at this condo! It is beautiful! The town of Punta Mita is just the right mix of "real Mexico" along with nice restaurants and amenities. The water is awesome - 3 or 4 great surf spots right out front - an easy walk on the beach or road into town (5 minutes max). The people are great - constant Hola and Buenos Dias, Tardes and Noches from almost all you pass - and by the end of the week - many of the vendors in town knew us by name! Daniel - who manages the condo is amazing - he can set up whatever you need - from a ride to/from the airport to groceries to a private boat trip to the Marietas Island - the guy is like the world's best concierge! Most definitely hope to return - have not stopped daydreaming of the place since we left 2 weeks ago!!! Hola Daniel!
